Three restaurants in Palm Beach County were closed briefly last week after failed restaurant inspections in the state.
Bear’s food hut, 540 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, was closed after an inspection on September 27.
Inspectors found four high priority infractions, four intermediate infractions and three basic infractions.
High priority violations included improper storage of food.
The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopened the same day on September 27.
The owner of the restaurant said the development they are in needs a new roof and this has been the cause of their problems. He said the owner of the development has promised to make the necessary repairs as soon as the hurricane season is over.
Waterfront Room, 401 E. Linton Blvd., Delray Beach, was closed after an inspection on September 29.
The inspectors found two high priority offenses, three intermediate offenses and two basic offenses.
High priority violations included small flying insects.
The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopened the same day on September 29.
The value of the lake
Restaurant Le Berger, 1216 S. Dixie Highway, Lake Worth, was closed after an inspection on September 30.
The inspectors found seven high priority offenses, six intermediate offenses and four basic offenses.
High priority offenses included the presence of insects.
The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopened the next day, October 1.
